Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a football player/sports fanatic. I'm a gentle giant. I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies and interests include being active, working out, playing sports, and things of that nature. I love spending time with family - it's the best thing in the whole world. I am a single guy on a mission at the moment, but will be back in college afterward. I love the beach, playing board games with friends, going out to eat, watching movies; basically all things awesome.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know deep inside me that it is the right thing. I believe in God and in Jesus Christ. I desperately want to return again to live someday with Heavenly Father and with my family and friends. I try to live my life to my best ability bringing the way I am in line with the Gospel. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is really a way of life, not just a church. I've found that making the right choices day by day and learning and growing in knowledge of what the Lord wants us to know and do brings about a peace and happiness that cannot be explained.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be as active as possible. Helping out with activities, visiting members, less active members, and nonmembers while sharing my testimony with them is what it's all about. I love getting together to have a good time and get something productive done. Serving others and going about with the right mindset and attitude, making friends along the way is important in my life. I love it all.

What are some of the ways that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps those around the world?

The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches that people should bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Throughout the world, when communities suffer major disasters and face difficulties beyond their ability to meet, the Church is prepared to offer assistance contributed by its members. The aid helps people who are in need, without regard to religious affiliation, ethnicity, or nationality. Humanitarian assistance has reached 147 countries and is valued at tens of millions of dollars annually. Latter-day Saint Charities is a Church organization that: * Distributes food. * Provides assistance in times of disaster such as volunteers to help in cleanup, the use of chapels for shelter, as well as food, water, and medical supplies free of charge. * Funds and encourages projects that benefit stricken communities. * Teaches self-reliance. * Helps people begin small business enterprises in their own homes.
