Hi I'm Kyle Corbett

I am an outdoorsman, I am a do-it-yourself person, I enjoy serving others. I'm a mormon!

About Me

I am an avid outdoorsman and love to spend time in the mountains, especially with family and friends, enjoying the creations that God has created for me. Some of my favorite things to do outdoors are fishing and camping. When not in the outdoors I am usually working on a project of some sort. I love building things with my own hands. I feel a great sense of satisfaction when a project is completed that I continually give myself something to do. Some days I like to immerse myself in a good book, usually a western. There is so much that God has given us to enjoy that I try to take time for all of them. I am currently serving a mission, but plan to be a mechanical engineer when I return home. My goal is to one day create a fuel efficient car that does not rely solely on oil.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the impact the gospel has had not only on my life, but my family's life as well. I love how the gospel has answered any question that has come up in my life. The understanding and peace that it brings to my life knowing that God loves me and wants me to be happy helps me to get through the tough times. There is an assurance, unlike any other knowledge I have gained, that fills the cracks, or voids, in my soul. I have been blessed to see the change it has wrought, not only in my life, but the lives of those I love as well. The gospel has brought me closer to family and friends. I have gained a better understanding of what life is really about and the things I can do to make it a better experience for me and my family. It gives me guidance and direction that leads to true and lasting happiness.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best example I can be to those around me. I try to return the love I feel from my Heavenly Father and Savior to those around me by serving them in whatever way I can. The most important thing I have realized is that time is our most precious commodity and that we need to place our time on those things that are most precious to us. So spending time with family and friends and strengthening those relationships is what I try to do.
