Hi I'm Mitch

I'm just a random fun kid who loves swimming and playing baseball. I'm a passionate eater, a crazy dancer, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I would say that I am just a regular guy, but the fact that I break out in random crazy dancing sets me apart from most people. I have a passion for playing sports and exercising. I love trying new things, all the way from new foods, to new sports. I was the captain of the swim team, and I love seeing improvements in anything I do. Now, I'm just a lonely old soul trying to find girls that want to go on dates with me. I'm doing generals at the University of Utah, and I still have no idea of what I'm going to do for the rest of my life, but whatever it is, I want to live it to the fullest.

Why I am a Mormon

I've had the luck to grow up in a fun, loving, family that is faithful in the church, and that has taught me right from wrong. It seems like I was living off of the testimony of my parents for a long time. I am the curious type of person though, so I always have questions about religion, so I wanted to find my own testimony of the gospel. After many prayers, I didn't receive an amazing visit from an angel or anything, but I received my testimony from my every-day life experiences. The tiniest of things can change your life and make you want to be a better person. It could be anything from having your parents finally find a job, to seeing a dog walk along the side of a special needs girl. It's the moments like that when I feel the tingling in my stomach, and that wild rush of emotion spread over my entire body that make me who I am today. It is the spirit, the Holy Ghost, at my side, giving me comfort. I absolutely love that feeling, and I want to feel it all the time, and I want everyone I come in contact with on mission to feel the same way I do. I know that there are many trials on my path, but I am going to push through all of them with the help of a Heavenly Father that has a plan for me. I want to be the best I can be, in anything I can do, so I can make my Father in Heaven proud. Life is full of adventure, and I need this church to help me through it all, and that is why I'm a mormon.

How I live my faith

Even though life is full of trials and events that get all of us down, we have to try to make the trials of others a little bit easier. I was on a Peer Leadership Team at my highschool, and we all got to help out at the special needs school. I feel like everyone needs help, everyone struggles with something, no matter how much they hide it. Every day, when I find myself doing something I am not supposed to, I often find myself asking, "Is this right?" or, "Could I have done better?" I live my faith by trying my hardest to find the positives in life, that give us that tingly feeling. When I go to that school for the special needs, it becomes so easy for me to see, and be thankful for everything God has given me. I've always loved sharing my testimoney with others, and now, I get the amazing opportunity to share my feelings and my knowledge of the gospel with the people of Rancagua, Chile as a missionary!
