Hi I'm Ann Roberson

God has blessed me in so many ways, being a Mormon is one of the greatest blessing of all!

About Me

I am a wife to a great husband, mother to five wonderful kids, and grandmother to six beautiful little ones. I am lucky to also have four amazing son and daughters in laws and two fun step-sons. I absolutlely love being with my family. I am an administrative assistant which I really like. My hobbies include cooking, reading, movies, playing games and traveling. Music is very important to me. I play the piano and have composed lyrics and music. I love being in the mountains and playing outdoors and also cozying up to a warm fire place with all the comforts of home.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the blessing of being a member of the church since birth. However, my family wasn't always very active. I made a decision early on in my life to always try to attend my church activities. I found peace there. I felt comfortable. I enjoyed my associations with my friends. As I grew, my testimony grew. The true gospel principles made sense to me. I could plainly see the correlation of following the commandments and the happiness that choice brings. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has been instrumental in the development of my testimony of Jesus Christ, of my Father in Heaven and his plan for me and in the Holy Ghost. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I believe in the atonement and am so grateful for that magnificent sacrafice in my behalf. I feel the love of my Father in Heaven. I have been guided, protected and sculpted by His gentle hands. I have felt the stirring influence of the Holy Ghost. The fabulous thing about being a Mormon is that it is not a Sunday only experience; it is a daily experience. The opportunity to have another set of scriptures that testifies of Christ is paramount. I have had the influence of that book change my very person. It has taught me great principles on how to conduct my life. I treasure the fact that I know that there is a living prophet on the earth. That through his direction I can hear the words of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love being a Mormon! It is who I am. It is why I am.

How I live my faith

Serving in the Church is a blast! I have had the opportunity to work in Primary as a teacher, and in the Presidency. Hearing the sweet testimonies of the children helps to foster my own testimony. I have also served with as a counselor, camp director, and presidency of the Young Women. They always make life more dynamic. I love feeling of their spirits and enthusiasm. I love to watch as they grow in the gospel. I have served as a teacher and President to the women's organization, the Relief Society. Having other sisters by your side is such a comfort! They challenge you to grow, help you when you're down, stand by you when you're lost, support you when you seek help. I am a Visiting Teacher, and always find that the sisters I visit teach me more than I could teach them. Personally, prayer is the key element for me and how I live my faith. I know Heavenly Father is there just waiting to hear the needs of his children. I love reading the scriptures and applying them. I can not express how much I love the Temple. Even just being on temple grounds is a rich blessing.
