Hi I'm Camry

Hi I grew up in Idaho. I love sports and having fun. I come from a big family and have a twin and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Camry. I love doing sports and pretty much anything active! I love spending time with my family and friends and love being around a bunch of people. I play the violin and piano and have been playing the piano for 2 years now and the violin for 11 years! At first, I hated the violin but now i really enjoy playing it and performing for others. I play and love volleyball and have played basketball! I love to do water sports and be in the water or around boats during the summer. I'm a farmer's daughter and enjoy working on the farm with my family. I have a huge family and a twin brother that is one of my best friends, and I'm a mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been born and raised in the Mormon church and have never doubted its truth. I have become a faithful member by hearing others share their testimonies and have been really able to feel the spirit through music. I believe strongly without a doubt that this is the true church. I know that it is because of the amazing and comforting feelings I get as i read the scriptures or attend classes and listen to testimonies. My grandpa who was an amazing and very good guy passed away this summer and before asked me and my sister to play a violin duet for his funeral. I hesitated becuase I get kind of nervous when i perform in front of people and i knew there would be a lot of people attending, but i accepted. Anyways, as we were playing i felt the spirit as strong as i've ever felt it and tears ran down my face as i felt that he was happy now and that he was listening to us play. After the service, the bishop told my grandma that he had seen something that he had never seen in his years as a bishop. He said as we were playing he literally saw my grandpa sitting next to my grandma with a smile on his face. My testimony was immensely strengthened from that one experience.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and are working in my youth group on a program called Personal Progress. This program contains all of these different values as follows: Faith, Divine Nature, Individual Worth, Knowlege, Choice and Accountability, Good Works, Integrity, and Virtue. these different values all have their own section in this pamphlet and have projects and goals to go along with each value, to help us become more familiar and build this trait in our own lives. At the end of each value, there is a separate 10 hour project that is kind of an end project that sums it all up. For example, I once cooked and made a cook book for my future life and family that took about 10 hours by finding all my favorite recipes. This is a very beneficial program that i have really enjoyed participating in. After completing this pamphlet the girl recieves a young woman recongition medallion. I also have participated in my different church classes councils that help plan future activities which has been a really fun learning experience for me and has shown me a whole new level of responsibility and hard work!
