Hi I'm Klurisa

I'm a singer, volleyball and track athlete and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I started singing before i could talk. Music has always been my passion. I have taken voice lessons for many years and been in performing groups. I enjoy doing things that help me develop my talents. This includes voice workshops, volleyball camps, and something as simple as track practice. I love spending time with my family. I have the most adorable niece in the world who is always on the go. Family relations are very important to me. I am in the process of writing my grandparents biographies. I think it is good to get to know your background.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always grown up going to church and have relied on my parents to help me with my choices in life. I have learned that it is my choice to be a part of this church the older I get. I am not forced to go to church, I choose to go. I made a goal to go to church every week for a year. I am working on my second year now. I love the church because of how it makes me feel. Never have i left a church meeting feeling worse about myself. I leave uplifted and feel like there is hope in all my doings. The one thing that truly converted me is music. That is how I feel the spirit. When I sing uplifting songs that are not offensive to the Lord I am truly happier. I put together a musical fireside in my stake which included a speaker and and hour of musical numbers. It was not just singing, there were cello's, bassoon's, violin's, flutes, and pianists. After that I had many people tell me how strongly they felt the spirit. I believe that music strengthens testimonies and is a tool in the Lords hand.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in many activities in the youth in our area. We do many service projects to help those around us. Service helps those around us but it also helps build you up by knowing you helped someone. I also help organize fundraisers to help get the youth more opportunities to develop their talents. These events include Girls Camp. Girls Camp is an amazing experience. You get to create lasting relationships with girls in your area. You also get to be involved in fun activities. This also boosts your self esteem. By the end of the week you feel like you are worth Rubies.
