Hi I'm Joanna.

I'm an reader, a future missionary, and a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from both high school and seminary, and I'm currently saving money so that I can serve as a missionary. After I return from my mission I plan to go to college and eventually hope to become an editor. I love spending time with my family, which includes my parents, two brothers, two sisters, a brother and a sister in law, and two nieces. I play flute and piano, bake when I have the time, and read even when I don't.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised by two wonderful, faithful members (my parents), I spent several years struggling to find my own testimony. I wanted - no, needed - to know that I was a member of this church because it was what I believed, not just what my parents believed. After much prayer and many miracles, I was able to accomplish this, and I can now testify of the immense love our Heavenly Father has for me and each of his children, and of his desire for each of us to lead clean lives so that we can return to him with our loved ones.

How I live my faith

At the moment I have the best job in the whole church - I teach toddlers while their parents go to other meetings on Sunday. But I think the biggest way in which I live my faith is outside the chapel. I try every day to lead my life as God and Christ would have me live it. Please note the word 'try' - I fail often. But I do my best, and I know that's what counts. I'm also preparing to serve as a missionary for eighteen months so that I can share my testimony and serve others.
