Hi I'm Brynne

I'm serving in the Bangkok Thailand mission. I like to do photography, and play the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Recently, I just graduated from high school, and attended one term in BYU Provo. Things that I love are the gospel, the ocean, soccer, music and anything that will cause an adrenaline rush. I also love to do photography, especially of reflections. I feel that reflections can represent people in the fact of how on the outside it looks all pretty on the surface, but underneath the water can be murky, or is crystal clear. It helps me put things into perspective of not judging people based on appearances, because I don't know what's going on in people's lives. I also like to take pictures of things that tend to go by unnoticed. It also helps me realize that there is beauty all around. I also love serving people I feel happy knowing I made a difference in someone's life. In the future I want to become a Physician's Assistant though, and hope to serve humanitarian trips in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and have seen how it's made my family happy. When I turned eight, I made the choice to be apart of the church. I love the Church, because I know that I can live with my family for eternity. I also enjoy the opportunity to serve others and receive much joy in serving others. I want to be able to share how the gospel has helped me in times of need, and has provided much joy to my life as well.

How I live my faith

I've been a Mormon my whole life. I'm preparing myself before I enter into the Missionary Training Center. I will be serving a mission in Bangkok Thailand for 18 months. I can not wait to share the gospel with the people in Thailand! However, I'm still going to be sharing the gospel with others I come in contact with after my mission. I like to show my faith through my standards and actions by serving and helping others.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

I can't help but think of the song "We are family", because it's true. Even though we may not be of the same race or background, we're still family. How I know that, is because I know that we're all God's children, whom He loves very dearly. In The Family: A Proclamation to the World, it says, "The family is central to God’s plan for His children. It is also the central unit of society and the means for bringing children into the world where they can be loved, provided for, and taught truth and righteousness." The reason why family is so important, is because we believe it to be a part of God's plan for us. In the Latter Day Saint Church, we believe it's possible for people or families to return to the presence of God and be with our families eternally. Show more Show less
