Hi I'm Rebecca

I am a wife and mother. I love to run half marathons and eat healthy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a wonderful husband. I have been blessed to be a stay-at-home mother for our four beautiful children. A few years ago my husband and I started running half marathons together and we love it. I love music and playing the piano. I love cooking dinner and eating together as a family each night. I know that being a mother is the most important thing I will ever do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am not the same person I was twelve years ago. I use to feel so empty. The gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my life and I will never be the same again. There are so many blessings that come into my life because I am a mormon. I believe with every part of my being that Jesus Christ has brought back his church to the earth and has called prophets and apostles to lead and guide it before he returns again. These men are my watchmen on the tower. They see the problems a far off and they warn us. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and I believe it is true. I have felt in my heart and soul. But above all, I know that my Redeemer lives and has atoned for the sins of all mankind. He is reaching out to each one of us. He wants us to repent and change.

How I live my faith

I told my husband just the other day that I couldn't imagine what my life would be like if we were not members of the church of Jesus Christ. I love that we have so much structure and order in our lives. I love that we go to church every Sunday. I love that we recieve revelation from God to help us make personal decisions. Who would I be without the counsel from modern day prophets and apostles? We teach our children strong morals and values that are hard to find in the world these days. I hope this will give them the strength to live in this world and remain faithful to the Lord. We pray together and read scriptures together. We limit the amount of time spent with media and we only allow good media in our home. We try each day to build on the strong foundation of the Rock of our Redeemer.

What is the Relief Society?

Relief Society has been so amazing in shaping the person that I am today. It has taught me how to be a better mother and wife. They have different activities that have taught me valuable skills to live frugally, make do with what I have and live on a budget. Relief society has really been like a mother of sorts.
