Hi I'm Larry

I grew up in the Cheraw branch. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the country. I come from a large family of nine children. My family was brought up in the church in a small congregation in South Carolina, and my grandparents were converts of the church. After high school I served in the army. I am a tool and die maker, I like farming, I am a father of two, and a husband of one.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the church I still had to come to know for myself that it is true. I know that through prayer, the holy ghost has manifest to me, that this church has the restored priesthood. It's hard to put into words how much this means to me. Because many times I have called upon my Heavenly Father's help, and He has answered my prayer through the Priesthood which I hold. Knowing this; I cannot deny the power of the restored Priesthood, which was given to Joseph Smith from God.

How I live my faith

I am a secretary with the men's organization of the church in my area. Over the years, I have been Scoutmaster over the Boy Scouts, as well as, worked with the young men as a teacher and leader. I have also assisted the members in many ways with their physical and spiritual needs.
