Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Sacramento, California, and am the oldest of 3 kids. I absolutely love playing sports and being active. I have a passion for music, and while I can't play any instruments, I love DJing. I'm probably the most trusting and loyal person you will ever meet. There are three things in my life that I cherish over anything else: My testimony and relationship with Jesus Christ, my family, and my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed with parents that taught me from a young age to develop a relationship with my Savior. As I have gotten older, I understand more fully how that relationship really shaped who I am now. Every rough patch or trial I have had, I have been able to overcome because I know that I am a divine child of God, and that he has a plan for me. In the darkest time in my life, I remember asking God what was happening, and why I was being put through something I didn't feel strong enough to handle. If everything I believed in was true, why, when I had a testimony, was I being put through all of this pain. As I prayed and pleaded with my Heavenly Father, a calming feeling rushed over me. It was the most powerful thing I have ever felt, and from that moment, I knew that he was there, and that he loves me. Every time I read the Book of Mormon, or am at church, I feel that same overpowering love, and it confirms to me that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ restored on the Earth. I am a Mormon because it gives me the strength I need to continue to grow and become more like my Savior, through my knowledge and actions.

How I live my faith

I always try to be the best example of Christ I can be. At work, I am the only Mormon, and I use this opportunity to talk about the church, and the many wonderful blessings I have received by living the teachings of the prophets. I love going to church every Sunday and listening to the testimonies of others. It really helps strengthen my own testimony, and to understand with a better knowledge how much my Father in Heaven loves me.
