Hi I'm Mitchell

Im a missionary who works hard every day, A drummer who took a break for a few years to serve his Lord, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a missionary, who was serving in the California Ventura mission, and now serving in the California Bakersfield Mission, but before that mission, I used to live in Kaysville, Utah. I'm trying to be a good son of a great family, and I love them so much. I'm a fun lover, just like a lot of people, and also love to have music all around me. I keep my friends close, and cherish those memories made while in their company. I'm a drummer, and became a member of a drumline, but I put it on hold while I help others find some happiness in this life. I love the stars, and could tell you a few things about them. I'm a trickster, a storyteller, and a sucker for adventures far and wide, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a shadow of a doubt that this church is the only true church in all of the earth. I know this not only because I have lived those important principles throughout my life and have seen the benefits of such living, but also because I have asked God myself, through prayer, and have received a witness through the power of the Holy Ghost that this church is where I need to be, to be as happy as I can be. I have seen miracles happen, even in the strangest of places. I have seen people change, and become better, even when they themselves didn't think they would ever change. I'm a Mormon because I love the impact I've seen it make on myself, as well as others.

How I live my faith

I'm a missionary serving in Ventura, California, but before then I showed my faith by going to church every Sunday, and trying hard to help others who need some help. Christ showed us how to love everyone, and so I'm working on seeing the best in people. I try to do my best everyday, and unfortunately make mistakes, sometimes lots of mistakes, but I'm working on becoming the best person I can be, always picking myself up after I mess up, and trying again, and again, and again.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

Mitchell
A Restoration of the Gospel was needed in order to clarify Heavenly Father's instructions for His children. Yes, we have the Bible, but the large number of Christian churches in the world with conflicting doctrines proves that the Bible alone is not enough to resolve religious debate. Thus a Restoration of the pure gospel is needed, including new scripture to support and clarify the Bible. Show more Show less
