Hi I'm Coulter

I Grew up in Utah. I am one of 7 kids. Its no surprise I'm Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old, and i grew up in Bountiful utah. I graduated from high school in 2011. I was 1 of 4 kids until the fall of 2010 when my mom got remarried, i am now 1 of 7. I played on the golf, and tennis team in high school. After i graduated i worked in a warehouse, mowed lawns, and set up for banquets at the Joseph Smith Building. I did this until February 8th 2012 when i left for my mission in Tampa Florida. I was always big into sports especially basketball, golf, tennis, baseball, and football. I played on some kind of team for each of those sports throughout junior high, and high school.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents, and grandparents were mormon. But that is not why i am currently a mormon. Many people attend church because its what they are "suppose" to do. But i needed to know that this was the true church before i was gonna consider living the rest of my life as a mormon. That came over time. It took a lot of scripture reading and prayer. But eventually i came to know that this church is the true church. I can now say that i know Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and he restored Christ's church back onto the earth, and along with that the priesthood authority to perform ordinances like baptism the proper way. I think i always knew it was true but it took me a while to get fully on board. Just like anything else in life being a mormon is hard. Living up to the standards that are set up by God, through the leaders of our church is not easy. But the blessings associated with living the Gospel are well worth it.

How I live my faith

Currently i am on a full time mission serving the Lord for two years. Being on a mission is such a wonderful blessing. I have the opportunity to go out and teach the message of Christ everyday. Because of the blessings and the sense of peace the Gospel brings me I try to share it with as many people as i can. The Gospel is for everyone, the hard part is getting people to understand why.
