Hi I'm Max Wade

I'm 20 years old. I grew up in Southern California. I love to surf. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love surfing and being in the water in general. I live about a mile from the ocean. I like spicy food and travelling that's why I went to BYU-Hawaii, mostly for the waves, I will be back in college soon I still am not sure what I want to do but I have three pretty good ideas. I like to exercise and be outdoors but I am also down to go and play a game sometimes. I love watching movies and being around people too. I have a big family which consists of my dad Ken, step-mom Tess, my sisters: Aja, Sonna, Rebekah, Savannah, and my brothers, Jesse and Tyler and then my mom Keri. They're all characters I wouldn't trade a single one of them!

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in God and Jesus Christ and I believe they love us that's why we have a prophet today for our times. I didn't really have a firm belief in God growing up I didn't really think it was all that important until my Dad was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure, that made me think a lot about if we would be family or where we would go after we died and I had always been taught families could be together forever so I had to find out if it was true and I did that by reading the Book of Mormon. I felt my answer through the Holy Ghost. I think God speaks to us through the Holy Ghost by feelings. When I prayed about the book (after reading and pondering its message) I felt peaceful and excited at the same time and since then I knew that I had to serve the Lord and follow Jesus Christ to be able to be with my family forever. Families are the most important thing to us here so why would they end? That's what I asked myself the whole time while I was reading and praying to know if the Book of Mormon is true. And it is true so read it! Ultimately I'm "Mormon" because I want to follow Jesus Christ and I can do that only if I live his doctrine.

How I live my faith

I'm a spanish Mormon Missionary and I live my faith by teaching anyone that will listen. I am currently serving in Utah and I love waking up everyday to work for the Lord!
