Hi I'm Amber

I grew up in San Diego. I have my Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. I'm a stay at home mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mom! I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, and trying new recipes. I like to make friends and learn about other places and people. I also enjoy music-especially musicals. I'm not a great singer, but I sing anyway. I appreciate beautiful things and try to surround myself with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that God lives and is once again speaking to His children through prophets, just as He did anciently. I know that God wants us to be happy and has given us instructions on how to be happy, successful, and productive. By being a Mormon I learn how to live so that I can return to live with God again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live as our Savior Jesus Christ. I look for ways to let others know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who knows them. I serve others by being a friend and I teach my family to love God and serve others too.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Amber
A testimony is a personal conviction that certain things are true; such as God lives, Jesus Christ is our Savior and that He has called prophets again. A testimony can strengthen and forify us. Jesus taught the parable of the wise man and the foolish man. The wise man built his house upon a rock and the foolish man on the sand. When the winds and floods came the house on the rock was still standing. A testimony in Jesus Christ is that sure foundation. Show more Show less
