Hi I'm Kelynn Blatter

I'm a wife, yogi, homemaker, public health student, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi I'm Kelynn. I love yoga and living a healthy lifestyle! It helps me feel closer to God as I take care of the body and spirit that He gave me. Even more, I love my husband Jason who is the absolute love of my life! We're perfect for each other in all of our imperfections. I grew up as a member of this church and served a mission in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission. I loved my mission and grew to love my Savior more as I served Him and the people in that area. After being home for 2 years I married Jason who was a return missionary too. We now live in Idaho Falls and go to school at BYU-Idaho. I am studying public health and am in my junior year. Jason is studying Mechanical Engineering. We are living the newly wed life and continuing to grow together and toward our Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior. This is the only way I know how to live. And I wouldn't have it any other way. I get to live standards that help not only my life but the lives of the people around me. I get to be an example to everyone by just living like my Savior would have me live. I have seen how being raised in the gospel benefits not only the child being raised but the lives of everyone the child will ever come in contact with. The church is true! I know this with all my heart. I have learned it for myself.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be better each day. It's not always about the big improvements or occasions in life. It's all about the little changes and moments in each day. If I can be better today than I was yesterday I feel pretty good about myself. I am trying to live in a way that will make both my fathers proud. My earthly father and my Father in Heaven. The gospel is everything to me and impacts every decision I make each day. Questions will come and some of them can't always be answered quickly. Questions are good and are there to be answered. It just takes time and faith.

What is the Relief Society?

Kelynn Blatter
The Relief Society is an organization that helps do exactly what the name says, it provides relief. My mom served as the relief society president in our ward and I was able to see how the relief society can help touch lives. They help all members of the church through many things. They provide meals for families who are in need of a helping hand, they provide support for family losses, and, most importantly, they bring the spirit into the homes of families. Show more Show less
