Hi I'm Jill

I'm a wife, mom & grandma! I love photos and putting them into albums! I love the word PEACE and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Jill and I love being a wife to my husband Mike, mom of 7 kids (including 3 daughter-in-laws), and grandma to my beautiful granddaughter Adalynn. They are all very important to me and I love to support them in all they do. I have 3 boys and 1 girl, in that order. I am the only girl in my family and have 3 older brothers and 1 younger brother. I went to college and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. I worked full time as a data reporting specialist for Mental Health insurance programs. When our 3rd son was 5 months old - almost 22 years ago, I quit my full time job and have just been doing little jobs here and there. Most of the time I am a Wife and Mom, and that is what I love the most! I am also a consultant for a scrapbook company. I love to put my family photos into albums. I have created over 35 albums. I also LOVE baseball - watching it, that is. I learned to love baseball as a young girl and it has carried on with my kids. I also love my Zinnia garden every summer. I call them my Happy Flowers. I can look out my front door and see the flowers and they help me smile! It's always good to SMILE! I also love the word PEACE and everything it means. If we feel Peace in our lives, then everything is right and good!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all of my life. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. The church has always been a huge part of my life. I love the principles and guidelines and values that the Gospel provides for us to help us follow the strait and narrow path that leads back to our Heavenly Father. I love how experiences that I have in my daily life help strengthen my testimony that I have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who loves me and knows me and atoned for ME. What a blessing it is to have a living prophet on the earth today that receives guidance and revelation. I love President Thomas S. Monson and I know that he is our Prophet today. I LOVE the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. I have had the opportunity to teach 15-18 year olds in Sunday School for 2 years. This opportunity has provided me tremendous growth in learning and understanding and loving the scriptures. I am thankful for the blessing of repentance. We all have struggles and trials and temptations. Our Savior, through His atonement, provided us all a way to repent and be forgiven to we can live with Him again one day. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and being part of His gospel has helped me everyday! Living the gospel brings Peace in my life.

How I live my faith

I currently teach 12-13 year old young women. I love the amazing youth in the world today. They are so talented and strong and courageous! The Lord truly saved them to live in these latter days. I love every opportunity I have to serve in the church. Each different opportunity has helped me to grow as a person. I have also learned to love many people through serving. Serving has helped me to see that everyone has strengths and weaknesses. If we focus on and learn from the strength of others, we will continue on that righteous path where Heavenly Father wants us to be.
