Hi I'm Madi

I am a freshman in college and studying business. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to play sand volleyball with my friends I am working part time and going to school full time. I love hiking, biking, jeeping, hanging out at the river and simply goofing around with my friends. I love the hype of the football and basketball games and being involved!

Why I am a Mormon

I love having a purpose in life and knowing what I am supposed to be doing here on Earth. I can feel God's love for me and feel closer to Him as I do the things I know he would want me to do. When times get hard, or I feel alone, I think of my Savior and all that he has done for me, and I know I am never alone. I know that He know exactly what I am going through- because He went through it all too. With the gospel in my life there is never a doubt of how far I can go, or how far is too far. I know that there is a greater purpose for me and that living for the moment will only give me temporary happiness but will not last throughout the eternities, and I want to be happy forever.

How I live my faith

Its really all about the simple things. Its being where you are supposed to be and around those who lift you up and make you into a better person. Everyday I notice all the great things that I am blessed with and it strengthens my testimony even more. I am a ward missionary and I find this greatly rewarding to be able to share the gospel with people my age and to see them light up when they feel the same Spirit I feel.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Temples are houses of the Lord. As we are worthy to enter in, we are able to do ordinances for those that have passed on without the opportunity to receive or accept the gospel of Jesus Christ. We also receive sacred ordinances. We are sealed to our spouse for all eternity, and learn more about who we are. The temple provides peace in the lives of those who enter in. Being worthy to go to the temple leads to increased love for fellow men and a desire to serve one another. Worthiness however, is not just a one time thing but must be continually worked on.
