Hi I'm Kevin E. Calderwood

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a life-long member of the Church. I grew up in Utah but have spent most of my life elsewhere. I am in my fifties; I am the father to three sons and three daughters and I have four grandsons (so far). I love sports and I'm a particular fan of any Big Ten match-ups, college football and the NCAA Basketball Tournament. More than anything in the world, I like to spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church to two parents who have a profound belief in the Savior Jesus Christ. From an early age, I developed my own testimony of Jesus Christ and that foundation has guided the way I strive to live. So while it might appear that being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a default decision given my family heritage, in fact it is my life choice based on my own experiences with reading the scriptures, listening to the prophets and through prayer.

How I live my faith

I just try my hardest to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. I believe in very simple things: being good to my wife and family, being a good neighbor, helping out with kids' teams and activities and doing good in the community. I am active in my ward and stake and I try to accept every assignment I am given.
