Hi I'm Susan.

I'm a Mormon. I'm from Kentucky and enjoy being a stay-at-home wife and mother.

About Me

I grew up in a family of 8 children. I have always lived in Kentucky and I think it is a beautiful place to raise a family. My husband is also from Kentucky. We met 8 years ago on a blind date set up by mutual church friends. We were married 7 years ago. I am currently a stay-at-home wife and mother. Prior to this I attended college, completed my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and was a Kindergarten teacher for two years. When our twins were born my husband and I decided that we wanted me to be the full-time caregiver for our children. I have enjoyed being a full-time wife and mother for the past 5 years. Two years ago we were blessed with another child. We enjoy spending time together playing and working. I love to sing, read, visit with family, exercise, and attend choir practice.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a child I went because my mom took me, but as I grew, studied the scriptures and prayed about the teachings of the church I developed my own testimony. I can remember at the age of 15 reading the Book of Mormon from cover to cover for the first time. I was overwhelmed with the importance of the message found in that book. I know that the Book of Mormon was written for our day by ancient prophets. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and every person who has ever lived on earth. I am grateful for the blessing of having this knowledge. It makes all the difference in my life. It is wonderful to have the Bible, Book of Mormon and other scripture so that I have guidance for myself and my family. I feel wonderful knowing that we are able to lead and teach our children in a way that will lead to true happiness for us all.

How I live my faith

At this time in my life my main focus is on raising the precious spirits that Heavenly Father has sent to our home. I enjoy teaching them about the gospel of Jesus Christ because I know that they will need this firm foundation as they become adults.
