Hi I'm Joseph

I'm a Marine, I'm a Sign Language Enthusiast, I'm an oldest brother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in the MTC. I'm going on an ASL signing mission. I already know sign language. I grew up signing, my mom and dad are deaf. I graduated high school 2010 and went to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego. I graduated Boot Camp in January 2011. I finished all my training and now I am serving a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know it is true. The eternal truths I learn have changed my life. These principles aren't anything new, they are things that God has taught us since the creation of the earth. I know that is it true because I have asked God. And he answered me.

How I live my faith

I serve the people by serving as a volunteer. Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Tri-City Food Bank, Homeless Shelters, and community gardens to name a few of the places I volunteer at. I am a very happy person and I try to show it. Smiling and being happy are other ways of how I show how the Gospel of Jesus Christ has changed me into a better person. I follow Jesus Christ's example by trying to love everyone I meet. Sometimes its definitely a challenge, but everyone is a child of God, my brother or sister.
