Hi I'm Riana

I grew up all over the United States. I am a musician and FIRST robotics team member. I love science and Space Camp. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Riana. I do 4-H, FIRST Lego League Robotics, and Military Kids camps. My dad is active duty Air Force, so I move around a bit. I've lived on both sides of the U.S. I go to military kids camps to get to know other kids with parents like mine.I love to play the piano, violin and sing. I like swim and rock climb.I'm a high school student. I am planning to get a private pilot's license when I'm old enough. I love outer space and the sky. I love to learn all I can about outer space and how to be an astronaut.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I truly believe this is the true church on the earth. I have been a Mormon my whole life, but I know personally that it is true. I follow the gospel because it truly makes me happy. I have seen my friends' lives change for the better when they get to know Jesus Christ. Having the gospel has helped me many times while going through trials. I had ankle injuries for about 3 years. I would always injure it and have a slow recovery. I would pray and ask "why me". But I learned that that is not the question I should ask. I learned to ask, "what am I to learn?". I have had the spirit help me in so many ways I can't list them. The spirit testifies to me. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the true living prophet today. With his guidance we can all come to know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am one of the several youth in my ward. I currently am on 1 of 3 girls youth presidencies. I am the second counselor. I thought that I would be helping my counselors, but they have helped me much more. Everywhere I go I try to live the gospel. People notice a difference in me and ask me why I'm different. I tell them about the gospel and sometimes give them a Book of Mormon. People around me at school say "oh don't swear around her, she gets offended by that...". People know my standards and respect them. I try to help others when I can at school and in 4-H. I try to embrace the gospel and live it. I never know when I will get asked a question, but I am ready.
