Hi I'm Cassondra

My parents don't believe in God but...I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Latter-Day Saint but I'm also a face painter. I am a student; I am studying massage therapy. I am a wife; I've been married for two years. I was the only Mormon/LDS in my high school. I am the only Mormon/LDS in my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the structure, morals and happiness that the gospel gives to my life. When I joined the church it was like having an immediate family and support system. The missionaries taught me in a friends home when I was 16 years old and I knew it was true without question. Literally. The missionaries made me come up with 5 questions before I was baptized. I just soaked in every word from each lesson and loved it! Now, I'm married to a LDS and we have hard times, but the gospel gets us through!

How I live my faith

I work in the Nursery with kids 1.5 years to 3. I LOVE it! There is nothing better then getting to spend time with such sweet spirits. I've served in other callings such as leading music, being first councillor in the Primary Presidency, and also being a secretary in Primary! I also visit four sisters in my branch per month to make sure they are doing ok and to get to know them. There are great blessings that come from doing it because I always end up making good friends with my companion and getting to chat and care for people that I may have not normally spent time with (people of all ages and backgrounds). Even though it's really hard for me to make time to do sometimes because of school, it's always worth it. My husband and I also pray together everyday and read the scriptures together every day which really makes us grow closer together and closer with the Lord.
