Hi I'm Kellie

I love thrill rides. I love being outside and enjoying God's beautiful creations. I am proud to be American, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, I want to be in the medical field and learn all I can about the body. I come from a large family with 5 brothers and tons of extended family. My parents divorced my senior year of high school and it was difficult, turning to the Lord helped me to know how I can help my family and myself. I love the mountains and the ocean so much, they are so beautiful to me. I LOVE playing golf, even if I am not so good. Being outside and surrounding myself in nature makes me so HAPPY! I plan to marry in the temple and raise a family within the covenants my husband and I make. I want my children to learn to love their Father in Heaven and their brother Jesus.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and baptized when I was 8. I went to church because I was supposed to. I did not gain a testimony until I chose to pray ask my Heavenly Father what was true. Over time I learned of my Father in Heavens love for me and I learned that this church is true! There have been many moments in my life when I have felt great pain and sorrow. I learned to stop praying for the pain to be taken away and I prayed to just have someone be with me through it. After I prayed the pain did not change, however I felt the arms of my Savior wrap around me and comfort me through the pain. I have a testimony of the atonement and I know that Christ loves me and has felt every ounce of my pain, every temptation, every sad moment and every struggle. This knowledge gives me strength and causes me to desire to serve everyone around me. I am so grateful I chose to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I work a lot and often get in discussions about my faith because I act differently than my coworkers. I work hard and I do not swear. I try to be an example of Christ. I try to read everyday in my scriptures so when I am asked questions about my faith I will be prepared. I volunteer with the Scouting program. I love the smile I see when I have helped someone else.
