Hi I'm Brigham Allen

I grew up in Payson Utah, I'm serving a mission in Rancho Cucamonga California, I'm a gamer, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I live in Payson Utah. I have lived there for about 10 years. I love it! Even though I live in a more country area, I love the city. I love the all the nice cars and beautiful buildings. My hobbies include video games (MMO-RPG) and games like League of Legends. Another thing I love is cars. BMW is my favorite but I'm a fan of any luxury sports car.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were Mormon so I grew up just going to church everyday because thats all I knew. A lot of my friends were Mormon and I didn't really even question being Mormon until I was a teenager. Church was just something I did. I didn't really think a whole lot about it until I was around 16. Then I started to think if this is really something I should do. And I came to the conclusion that this was something that was important to me and I knew what I was being taught was true. And the same thing I learned my whole life, if others would accept it, could change their life too.

How I live my faith

So now that I came to the realization that this church I was in, could change other people's life, I wanted to share it with people. And when men hit age 19 in our church, they can go serve a mission. A mission is where we leave home for 2 years and we spread the knowledge that we have obtained, to people all around the world. I was called to serve in the San Bernardino California Mission. So for 2 years, I'll be teaching the people of San Bernardino County and I'm so excited!!

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Brigham Allen
Authority is important because just like in the Government, some people need authority or else everything would be crazy. Imagine if you were speeding down the road in your car doing over the speed limit. An ice cream truck pulls you over and tries to give you a $500 ticket, are you going to pay it? Now if a Highway Patrol Police car pulled you over, would you pay it then? Probably!!! Why would you pay him but not the ice cream truck? Because the cop has authority to do it. The same applies to being baptized by the correct authority. It makes it offical. If you have already been baptized in another church and was told you would have to be re-baptized, it's for the same reason. It wasn't done by the right authority. However your baptism wasn't in vain. You did it because it was the way you knew how to follow Jesus Christ and that's great!!! We all need to follow him to be saved. Show more Show less
