Hi I'm Rachel

I grew up in Montreal, I love medical stuff and raccoons and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I went to College for about 3 years. I am currently serving a full time mission in the Texas Houston East Mission, Spanish speaking! I love my family. I love discovering stuff about life and do researches on random subjects. I love music, like pretty much everybody. I like going to concert or watch movies with friends. I enjoy spending time in the nature sometimes just to get away from the craziness of life but I am definitely a city girl! I love have fun and try new things, my goal is to go skydiving when I come back from my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the Church, I've always been going to Church. It was kind of an habit more than anything. I needed to find for myself and stop relying on my parents testimony. I had a rough patch when I moved out to go study in a different city. After a while, I realized that I needed to know if the Church is true or not. I decided to pray about it but I didn't get an answer right away. Actually, I didn't get the answer the way I thought I would. I stopped having fun going to out with my friends. When I was with them, I wasn't happy as a us to be. The taste of "adventure" went of the more I was praying. One day, I got the answer I was waiting for, after fasting and praying I really felt the love of my Heavenly Father, I felt so much joy. I love this Gospel. I know that anything that makes you REALLY happy is from God. :)

How I live my faith

I decided around 2 years ago to go serve a full time mission for the Church. It has been a long route but I finally made it and will be serving in the Texas Houston East mission in spanish. Before going on a mission, I was a Primary teacher and was teaching the 8 - 10 years old children. They taught me so much! I strive to always be the best, to push myself to do better.
