Hi I'm Carol

I'm a Mormon, a member of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I love to sing in the church choir. I play the piano for enjoyment. My four children have families of their own. I taught some of them how to play the piano. I love all good and uplifting music. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir has been my favorite ever since I was a little girl. I still look forward to each Sunday morning television broadcast of 'The Spoken Word' from 'The Crossroads of the West' with the Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was baptized at the recommended age of eight years old, I have always been close to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I was blessed with loving parents, four brothers and one sister, so it has not been difficult for me to remain close to the Lord through a great family. In growing up, I chose best friends who also were members of the LDS church. We attended worship services every Sunday and had many uplifting experiences together in church, in our neighborhood, at school, and at camp. I am grateful to have the blessings of our sacred temples in my life, and I know that I have the opportunity to live with Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and my mortal family throughout eternity. I am thankful to have a prophet of the Lord and twelve apostles living on the earth today, and to have the constant guidance and protection of the Holy Ghost in my life. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Each morning, I begin my day with scripture reading and with a heartfelt prayer. I express my gratitude for all my blessings and ask that I might be of help for someone, or that I will remember to be a good example for someone during the day. I feel that daily prayer helps me to be closer to my family and extended family. I try to teach my grandchildren the importance of sincere daily prayer and of helping others. I pray very often throughout the day, and I end each day with a heartfelt prayer of gratitude for specific blessings from my Heavenly Father.
