Hi I'm Jenny

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Korea. I was baptized in 1986, and have been a member ever since.

About Me

I am a wife with no kids. I have two dogs: Beagel, and Shunauzer.I am working full time. I love to read good books and to hike with my husband and dogs. I also love to learn new things which led me to study a new field in college.( I have a degree in education) I recently finished CNA course, and taking classes in community college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know the gospel is true. I was converted and baptized in 1986 in Korea. My sister introduced me to missionaries and I started having a lesson and discussion with them. When I heard that we have a loving Heavenly Father who loves us and watch over us, that gave me a great comfort. They also explained the plan of salvation which includes that we are here on earth to experience things and this life is not the end. That's what I had felt ever since my dad's passing. My dad passed away when I was 10, but even that early age I kind of felt that he was alive in heaven. Whenever I attended the church or met with the missionaries, I felt the warm and sweet feeling which later learned that it was the Holy Ghost. I have been a member of the church ever since. Through studying the gospel it comfirmed the truthfulness over and over. I love the gospel and the church. It is the church of Jusus Christ of latter day saints. It is the Christ church. Jesus is our savior and redeemer. He is the center of the gospel. We believe in Him as a savior, redeemer, and our Lord. Because of His atonement we are saved, because of his death, we will be resurrected. I love Him so much. and I want to follow His exempel.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the gospel on 4th sunday. I am a visiting teacher too. Through visiting teaching I learn more about the ladies that I visit. we become friends, share our love and help each other. Also, I go to the temple every week which helps me to cope with daily challenges of life. I try to keep the sabbath holy which includes going to the church and attend all meetings, not shopping, and spend time with families. I read the scriptures everyday and pray to our Heavenly Father. Gospel teaches us the importance of family, so my primary focus is my families. I am happier because of the gospel, and this life has a meaning and purpose.
