Hi I'm Erin Patton

I was born in California and eventually moved to Maine. I'm part of an international stake, with Canada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three sisters, and I'm the second oldest. I play a sport every season, I take honor/AP classes, and I am the class seceratary. I take seminary online every morning before I go to school and I love it! I hunt moose, deer, grouse, I fish, and I've gone rattlesnake hunting before. I plan on going to BYU utah when I graduate. I love all my friends that I make during youth activities, like youth conferences and treks! I'm the only Miamaid in my young womens group. There are no Laurels but a LOT of Beehives!! I love to learn new things everyday!! I spend too much time on Facebook talking to my friends and not enough time with my family. I like to have help with everything, I'm having help right now from my friend Micah, who forgot his LDS user account, he has nothing else to do at this time at youth conference. I'm also haveing a race with my other friend Dustin who is typing much faster than me and actually knows what to say about himself. I don't know what to say about myself... I go to an international stake with Canada and know everyone there, I am also starting to go to a youth activities downstate from where I live. I live 15 minutes from the Canadian border and use to live 30 minutes from the Mexican border. I love it here in Northern Maine!!!!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are Mormon. I have lived by the same standards all my life and I don't know how else to live because I couldn't do it!! It makes it so much easier to do what's right . I also love being with other LDS members because there is something different but special about them. I feel comfortable and at home with them. We learn about the Plan of Salvation which I love because it's an amazing plan and we can return back to our Heavenly Father. I know that I can be forgiven of my sins if I am truely sorry. I also love learning every about the gospel every morning during seminary. It makes my day go by better and brighter. Also the hymns that we sing are amazing and I love learning how to play them on the piano, violin, and sing them. They also make me happier.

How I live my faith

I try to go to every youth activity I can go to, even if I'm not in that stake. I also go to every church meeting. I also sing hymns when I need help. I refrain from swearing even when I'm with my friends. I get my friends not to swear as well. My friends know how I act and try to protect me from inappropiate things. I also where my CTR ring everyday, CTR means Choose The Right. When someone asks what it stands for i tell them and explain it.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Erin Patton
I have found the best way to find someone to talk about the Mormon religion is by asking anyone you know if they know a Mormon. It is crazy how quickly someone can be found. And the best people to talk to is a Missionary, and if you call 1-888-537-6600 (U.S.A or Canada) you can find one of these missionaries in your area. Show more Show less
