Hi I'm Elder Brandon Howard!

I am an Extreme Unicyclist. Fijian Missionary. Child of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a child of God. My Heavenly Father loves me. This knowledge is what motivates everything good in my life! I am a very happy, enthusiastic, optimistic and outgoing guy. I'm 18. I LOVE extreme unicycling; I mountain unicycle while playing guitar and singing(off-road). I love choosing to be happy! I am an Eagle Scout. I LOVE performing or doing anything outside my comfort zone! I belive the purpose of life is: Deep Happiness!! I LOVE LIVING LIFE!! I thrive off of showing other people how to spend their time on things that bring true and lastinging happiness: doing something new/their afraid to do/out of their comfort zone, something real!--like developing your talents! When I was 11, I chose to throw out video games, cell phone and TV networks because I believe I'm here on earth to live a really good REAL life! God put me on earth for better things than wasting my time. So! Instead, I taught myself guitar! gymnastics! singing! piano! mountain climbing! kayaking over waterfalls! and painting for people's weddings! I am the youngest of 7 children. I believe the greatest and deepst happiness and joy in life comes from living for the things that matter most. I'm a very grateful person. I like being thankful at all times--even for challenges and hard times or trials! "[God's] intent is that your life be gloriously beautiful regardless of your circumstances. As you are grateful and obedient, you can become all that God intends you to be." (Richard G Scott)

Why I am a Mormon

Because of my living, loving and personal Savior, Jesus Christ. The road to gaining my own witness of the truth of this gospel, and that God does exist, and loves me, was the greatest and most meaningful journey I ever undertook! And now I know for myself, with all my joy and heart and whole being, that God knows me personally. Discovering that He knows my problems and challenges and has a plan for my life, was one of the most wonderful and significant experiences of my life. I don't know who I would be without it in my life today. The light you feel come into your life when you live the gospel, isn't something that can easily be described. It's a feeling of the most wonderful peace. I can be with my family for all time and eternity. All of them. And that's a great blessing. It's definitely the best way to live. Even if it were not true, it's still the best way to live! Luckily though, it is the best way, AND is true! And God has promised that each of us may know from Him, for ourselves. Read the Book of Mormon, and put it to the test by following Moroni 10:3-5. God has shown me that this is His church and doctrine in it's fullness. I'm glad, too - Glad because, honestly, if it weren't true and someone told me about it, I would probably wish that something that made so much sense and felt so right... were true. Luckily, I know it is. For myself.

How I live my faith

BY BEING SUPER HAPPY ALL THE TIME!! THIS FAITH FILLS ME WITH RIDICULOUS HAPPINESS AND MEANINGFUL, LASTING, CONSUMING JOY AND PEACE, PURPOSE AND MEANING! I smile, I hug, I compliment, I serve, every minute of every day. I thrive as I live to bless others; and I'm miserable when I'm only living for myself. I have chosen to give my life completely and in every way to God, my Heavenly Father, and His son Jesus Christ. I am currently on a 2-Year Mission to Fiji! I am sharing this joy and truth that has blessed my life more than I can say or express. I have literally left behind everyone and everything I've ever known, and am travelling 7000miles to the deep South Pacific, to share the joy of this gospel. How do I live my faith?-- For the next two years, it's LITERALLY ALL I am doing!!! Sharing the joy and light and teachings and blessings of Jesus Christ, to the lives of the Fijian people.
