Hi I'm Christina

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Connecticut and moved to Ohio when I was seven years old. I love art and music and being Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from Lakota West High School in 2010, where I was involved in Band (playing the French Horn), Marching Band (as a Drum Major/Field Commander my Junior and Senior year), Winterguard (competed as a team across Southwest Ohio), Peer Counseling (volunteer Mentor and performed in an anti-drug and alcohol program for Elementary school kids), and Art/Music competitions. I am now attending the Art Academy of Cincinnati with a focus on Photography and Visual Communications Design. I have worked for three different Chick-fil-A restaurants since I was 16 years old and have met some amazing people through my experiences there. I love being able to share the gospel with my co-workers and, every-so-often, some of the customers. I was recently married for time and eternity in the Columbus, Ohio temple to my husband. We are now working together to get both of us through college. We recently welcomed a little baby boy into the world in July 2014!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that there is a huge difference in my life when I choose to live the gospel. It's teachings make perfect sense and it's so easy to see and believe the words I read. I've been learning and growing my entire life through my church experiences and I could never deny the truthfulness of the gospel. It's not just somewhere to go on Sunday because I don't know where else to go. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a place where I can learn how to live like Christ did, how to grow closer to Him and learn about the sacrifice He has made for you and me. I know He lives and loves us without a doubt. I know my Father in Heaven is real and that He has created each and every one of us for a purpose and I know He loves me and wants me to be the best I can be. I love the scriptures and the prophets and apostles. I know they speak God's words and they will never lead me astray. I love my family and I know that because my parents remained worthy and were sealed in the temple, I will be able to live with my family forever, even when we die. There is no "til death do us part" in my family and someday I will start a family of my own under those same covenants.

How I live my faith

I am now teaching the Primary kids at church. I also host lots of fun activities for Young Single Adults in our area such as Hockey games, Laser tag, Game nights, Dinners, and all sorts of things! Outside of church, I volunteer at animal shelters and babysit ALL the time. I absolutely love watching kids and just hanging out with them. I also love to be helping people and animals alike! I have also recently been working towards sharing the gospel through my photography and other artwork at school.
