Hi I'm Stephanie Jones

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my freshman year of college. I love to dance, run, read, hike, and be with my friends and family. I was a cheerleader in high school and I love the rush of performing in front of crowds of people. I have a wonderful family that loves me and my four older sisters are my best friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS Church, but I have chosen to stay because I have come to know for myself that it is true. Through my trials I have come to learn that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and sent His son to die for me and to suffer for my sins and all of my pains so that I do not have to suffer if I will rely on Him and keep His commandments. I have exercised faith and kept the commandments that I did not understand, and with time I came to know, by the power of the Holy Ghost that I am choosing what is right. I know that God hears and answers our prayers and that we can talk to Him whenever we need to and He will listen because He loves us. I know that we are never alone because our Savior, Jesus Christ is by our side. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth and that if we follow Jesus Christ's example we will know true happiness in this life and in the eternities.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of Jesus Christ everywhere I go by being kind to others and performing small acts of service. In my singles ward I was the Compassionate Services Coordinator and I did my best to help the girls in my ward feel loved and supported. I will be leaving soon to serve a mission so that I can help others come to know Christ and to feel the happiness that His gospel can bring.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Stephanie Jones
Your testimony is what you know to be true and the truths of the gospel are made known to you by the Holy Ghost. You can come to know for yourself if the principles of the gospel are true by faithfully asking Show more Show less
