Hi I'm Katie Bateman Fitzgerald

Native of PNW. Recent implant to NW Arkansas. Studying Healthcare Administration at BYUI. Love to swim, serve and travel.

About Me

I am a recent alumni of BYU-Idaho's AAS Medical Assisting program. My husband and I recently relocated to NW Arkansas for work so I am finishing my schoolwork in Healthcare Administration through BYU-Idaho's online program. Some of my hobbies include: (short) hiking (and by hikes, I mean nature walks!), swimming, baking just about anything, attempting crafts, discovering new food trucks, traveling and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, and have attended since I was born with my parents. They have never forced me to go- but I love it. The Church is my foundation and it makes me truly happy! I have never had a life changing experience or vision that one day I decided "I choose to be Mormon". But, there have been small moments that have testified to me of the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ. Those small moments have built upon each other and have formed the knowledge I have today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through small and simple actions each day. I try to pray each day and study the scriptures regularly. I enjoy doing all things with a gospel-based perspective.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Katie Bateman Fitzgerald
The LDS temples have many purposes. They bring families closer together by sealing them for time and all eternity through God's power- The Priesthood. The temple gives us knowledge and teaches us about eternal truths. The temples also gives us the opportunity to do work for those who have passed on. This allows them to have the same chances as we have on Earth today, to hear The Gospel and to accept it. Show more Show less
