Hi I'm Rylan Tesimale

I'm Samoan, I love to relax, I love to eat, I am currently a full-time missionary in Fresno, California and also I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Virginia but i am currently serving a Spanish Speaking mission in Fresno, California. I am the youngest of five and consider myself the nerd of the family since i enjoyed school and love to read. I am a true Samoan in that i enjoy relaxing with my family, am friendly to all, and most importantly love to eat. My secret obsession is watching food network wishing i could cook like the chefs just so i could eat all the food. I have worked at a movie theater for almost two years and i have enjoyed all the free movies i got to watch. I am an easy going person and enjoy every minute of life.

Why I am a Mormon

People always asks while on a mission what brings you the most joy? That answer is simple for me...The joy of others. I live my faith through service, charity and love. Just to bring even the slightest smile to someones face through the Gospel is one of the most rewarding things for me. Always being that example and proudly showing the light that comes from living Christ's teachings is what i strive to do each and everyday. I love to serve, i love to make people happy, and i love to have fun and as i do that i hope i can have a positive affect on the lives of others. Always think positive and maintain a smile.

How I live my faith

While serving as a missionary in Fresno, California, i am living my faith by first following the example of Jesus Christ and second inviting others to do the same. There are always those rough moments, obstacles, and temptations in life but we learn as we trust in the Lord and have faith anything can be possible. Life is like a roller coaster, it is fun because it has both ups and downs." Keep the commandments and love the Lord and we will always have the blessings that we need. And never forget to "Remember who you are."

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Rylan Tesimale
Missions are personally funded. It may seem off for someone to pay to go on a mission but through funding ourselves we can receive the full blessings of our mission and also learn how to become financially stable and frugal. Missions follow the Law of Consecration or they have one flat rate for all missions even though some are more expensive then others. So the money that we use for our missions help with not only our missions but other missions also. However if you can´t fund your own mission the church will help pay for it because it is such a blessing to go on a mission. I am grateful for the many blessings and lessons i have received and am currently receiving while serving my mission. It may be a sacrifice but the lord made everything possible and only asks for a little in return. Show more Show less
