Hi I'm Brittney!

I'm a college graduate. I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay at home Mom taking care of my two beautiful children while my husband finishes up his college education. We love the spring and summer time where we fill our days with walks to the park, BBQs and family get togethers. I look forward to the day when we can settle down in a house and watch our children grow!

Why I am a Mormon

I was not raised in a household following any particular religion but I always felt a pull towards going to church and believing in a God. When I left home to attend college, my roommate in the dorms was a Mormon girl and we quickly became friends. I attended church activities with her, went to church, and soon gained a testimony of the joy the gospel can bring my life. I enjoyed the example of others around me and knew I wanted to pattern my future family around what I was learning. I was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have found joy in every day since. I know my family will be together forever!

How I live my faith

Staying at home with my children gives me ample opportunity to fill my life and home with Christ centered principles. We have a picture of the Savior in our living room and a picture of the temple in each room of the house. Every night we read the scriptures together as a family and pray together. It's a wonderful feeling to hear kind words spoken on your behalf coming from your loved ones and to plead to the Father for the needs of your children. I attend church weekly and plan monthly activities for the ladies of my ward that help to enrich and teach. As a couple, my husband and I attend the temple monthly and love entering the house of the Lord. Even days when the world seems too difficult to overcome, I am grateful for the church and for my family which help to uplift, teach and inspire me to stay on the straight and narrow path back to my Heavenly Father.
