Hi I'm Sarah

I love the Young Women's program. I love dancing with my hubby and kids. I'm always up for chocolate cake and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mother of 5 children. Four sweet little girls and one new precious boy. My children are still very young and VERY busy. With 3 still not in school, my resting time is rare and life can get REALLY frazzled! But I wouldn't trade it for anything. My family is my life. I grew up in the bay area of California and graduated from the University of Utah. I lived in England, near Cambridge, for 3 years while my husband was stationed there. I absolutly loved having my children attend the brittish elementary schools. I have made some life long friends over the years and love them all dearly. I believe in being happy and joyful and full of life!!! I feel so blessed to have been lucky enough to grow up in the church. Both of my parents are converts. My father joined when he was 11 and my mother when she was 18. Their devotion and example to me over the years has taught me to hold my faith dear to me. And to always look towards to ultimate goal... Happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon becuase I know this is the true church that Jesus taught when he was here on the earth. Being a member of the church continues to change my life everyday. It gives me a calming balance in my life so I can continue to grow and live in a way that makes me a better mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. There is a light in my life that I have not been able to find anywhere else. The wonderful spirit I feel when I am reading my scriptures, or listening to a beautiful testimony, or having a fun family night with my husband and children is irreplacable. It brings me such happiness and peace to know that I am living my life in a way that my Father in Heaven wants me to. And he wants this becuase it brings true happiness and love.

How I live my faith

I am the Young Women's president in my church ward. This pretty much means that I am in charge of the spiritual well being of all the girls from age 12-17 who go to my church ward. We do service projects, where we help our community, friends, and those in need. We have fun activities every week where we learn about each other, ourselves, and how to grow spritually. We camp, we play, we eat lots of treat and we just plain enjoy being together. I am also a visiting teacher. Which means that I visit and become friends with other women in my ward. We look out for each other and try to help each other in any way that we can. I love my callings and know that my Heavenly Father helps me so I can do them well. And with his love and faith, hopefully I can touch a few lives. Mine has been touched by many others. It is amazing how much a little love and prayer for someone can do. And action! We can do so much for each other when we make a little effort and let the Lord guide us.
