Hi I'm Nathan

I love Pokemon, Skittles and ice cream! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the second oldest of 8 children. I love technology, especially computers. I enjoy biking. I love Pokemon. I am currently studying psychology at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I am an introvert but at the same time I love people and enjoy being around them. My family and friends are most important to me. Life is pretty great!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My parents brought me to church every Sunday ever since I was a baby. When I turned 14 I decided, for various reasons, that I didn't want to go to church anymore. I ended up doing a lot of dumb things and missing out on a lot of oppotunities. It wasn't until I turned 18 that I realized that something was missing in my life. I decided to read the Book of Mormon. I made a commitment to read a little bit every day until I finished. As I did so life started to make sense. I starting to feel peace and maybe most importantly the love of God. It didn't happen in an instance but over time as I continued trying to do what God wanted me to I came to a knowledge that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church here on earth. I know that there is a living prophet who leads this church. I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father and that Jesus Christ is His son. They have paved the way for us to come back to live with them. That is the only way that we can find real and lasting joy. I have felt that joy in my life and there is nothing sweeter nor more fulfilling. I love life. I love God. I find peace and joy in a world of turmoil and chaos. This is truly where God wants His children to be.

How I live my faith

Following Jesus Christ is an every day pursuit for me. I know I'm not perfect but I try to think about how Christ lived and how he would treat people in his day to day interactions. I know that God lives and loves all of His children. Because of this I know He gives us commandments for our own benefit. I try my best to live all of God's commandments and whenever I fall short I repent and do better. This life is all about progress. We don't have to be perfect today but we should be better tomorrow. That's how I seek to live my life.
