Hi I'm Dannika Nielsen

I enjoy the outdoors, I love to laugh, and, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five sisters, no brothers, and because of this, my dad has raised all his girls like sons. So I have come to love and experience lots of different activities like, camping almost every weekend in the summer, a few fishing trips here and there, shotgun shooting every chance we get, ditrbike riding in the summer, archery in the back yard, woking on various home improvement projects, and getting grease under my fingernails while working on my car, along with many more. I also love to draw and paint and read. I love the marvels of nature, the change in seasons and the night sky I love learning about lots of different things, but the Life Sciences are my most favorite subject, so i study Biology at a local community college.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and have been raised in the church, so at a young age I was taught the truths of the gospel. My parents made it a priority to make sure my sisters and I were at church each Sunday. I am so greatful to them for loving the gospel and for helping me learn to love it as well. As I have gone through life, I have had many experiences of my own that have helped shape my love for and strengthen my testimony of the gospel, all of which have shown me the profound love that my Father in Heaven has for me and for each one of his children. I have chosen to live the gospel, because I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. Striving to live by the teachings of their gospel is a way that I can show my love for them. This striving, makes me a better person and brings blessings beyond my wildest imagining. I have experienced the safety, freedom and blessings that living the gospel provides, and... I have also felt the sorrow that comes from not living the gospel as I should, but, I have also experienced the great joy that Christ's Atonement can restore to a life once lost. My love for my Savior has grown so much in the past year, as I have studied his life and have striven to emulate His qualities within myself and applied His saving atonement in my own life. The more I study and the more I learn of my Savior, Redeemer and Friend, I truly do stand all amazed at the love and mercy He offers. I know, in the deepest part of my heart, this gospel to be true.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I participate in visiting teaching by faithfuly visiting my sisters each month, I do not currently have a calling, but I have always accepted any call I have been given, I fill in for members that need help teaching lessons or fulfilling their callings in any way, I willingly read scriptures, quotes and say prayers. I served a full time mission for my Heavenly Father in Georgia!
