Hi I'm Evelynn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family is important to me. I am a daughter, wife, sister to 4 sisters, mother of 4, and grandmother to 14 ranging in age from 6 to 21. I am now retired from many occupations, the most recent being a Medical Assistant. Along the way I have taken further education in relation to my occupations. I now have more time to read and crochet, and spend time with my husband. I also enjoy singing with our Ward choir, and playing the cello on occasion. Over time I have been involved with the Ladies in the Chamber of Commerce, town Arts and Humanities Council, and community orchestra.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the wonderful concepts and principals taught on eternal happiness. Life has not always been easy with the challenges we all face in life. Being a Mormon has not only helped me through rough spots, but has helped me in becoming the person I want to be, more like our Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Every day I read the scriptures, pray and try to increase my understanding, love and appreciation of the Savior. I attend Church to renew my covenants and learn more. Currently I serve with the women in the Stake Relief Society, teach a Gospel Doctrine class to the adults, and have worked with the children and youth in prior callings too. My husband and I taught our children and now our grandchildren to know the Savior and His ways. I have had the opportunity to share in remembering the Savior with the performance of the Schubert Mass no. 2 with another local church.
