Hi I'm Cory Lewis Robison

I'm a Mormon and I believe in the love of Heavenly Father and the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

About Me

Hi, my name is Cory. I grew up in the Mormon church and learned about the gospel since I was a child. I was taught and came to love Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Christ. I did not really know that the church was true until I found out for myself, and I found out for myself by reading the Book of Mormon and applying the things I learned from it. I am the second youngest of 6 children. What I like to do as a hobby is work on automobiles: pickups, cars, vans, you name it. I especially have a liking for older vehicles, like muscle cars and older trucks. For quite a few years I worked on a dairy farm milking cows, fixing and operating farm equipment, and working in automobiles on the side. Farm work taught me responsibility and that work needs to get done whether you are sick or well tired or full of energy.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the peace and family unity that comes from being a Mormon. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has brought me great comfort when I had family members pass away. When family members pass away I always feel that they are still around.

How I live my faith

As a member, I go out with other members and do service for other people who are unable to do the work for themselves. I have also participated in what we call "home teaching," which is where we visit, uplift, serve, and teach other members. I have also taught lessons in classes we have in church; every member, sooner or later, will have the opportunity to teach lessons. Right now I am serving a mission in the Louisville, Kentucky mission. As a missionary, I go arond and share the gospel with those who are interested in learning more about Jesus Christ.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Cory Lewis Robison
You come to know Heavenly Father by praying often, reading and studying the scriptures, and keeping the commandments. I found out for myself that He is there by developing a desire to know Him more and then doing my best to study and learn what I could. Show more Show less
