Hi I'm Mark

I'm average to the world but one of a kind if you know me. I love the Gospel and will live it till the end.

About Me

I'm all about being outside and being active. I love to spend time fishing with my dad and brothers, although we never catch anything. I enjoy spending time with my grandfather and hearing his over 80 years of wisdom. I'm headed to college soon for mechanical engineering. My friends and I like to shoot, hunt, fish, and think we know how to fix a truck. I enjoy eating blueberry pie. I do a lot of ordinary things but try to put my own twist on things. The Gospel has been in my family for Generations and I'm proud to carry it on to the next. I served my mission in Alaska and loved every bit of it, even the hard times. I lived on a dairy farm for the first few years of my life, then I spent my summers in the potato fields of Sugar City, Idaho. I've appreciated the opportunity to learn to work hard and be dependable. I enjoy learning and have interests in almost every field. I learn by watching and making mistakes, but I'm grateful that mistakes are fixable and we are improved through time and experience. I have high hopes for life, and love to help others learn their potential as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this is the true church that is led by the Savior Jesus Christ! I feel that the teachings of the church bring me closer to him than I could be any other way. I have a better understanding of what he has done for me, and I learn to be more like him. The simplest way to say it is, when I follow the teachings of the Gospel, I feel good. I feel that I am bettering myself and trying to do good to those around me. I know there is a purpose for us in this life, and I've learned that purpose through the teachings of modern day prophets, the Bible, and the Book of Mormon. and the only place you can find those things all together is in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith as I get the opportunity to serve others, being involved in the Church gives us many opportunities to serve those in our communities and also others all over the world through the welfare programs of the Church. I love being able to serve through visiting others in the congregation, whether it is to bring a spiritual message to to help with their physical needs in some way. I also live my faith privately, it is a very rewarding experience to read and study the scriptures, and then to put into action the attributes and skills that I learn. By trying to be patient, less judging of others, and help others what ever the circumstance. The Gospel is great and as I live it every day I feel closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ.
