Hi I'm Gabriel O'Neill

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Gabriel O'Neill and I am a Mormon. I was born in Florence, South Carolina but have been growing up in North Ogden, Utah and love it here. Growing up just had a normal life playing sport and going snowboarding with friends. Of course I had ups and downs but I was blessed with a great family and home life and lived in a great area

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and grew up in this church, being young I just rolled with it and it kept my parents happy. As I got older reality hit and I realized that I would need to choose what I was going to do with my life and not just "sit on the fence". I wanted to know if the Mormon church is where God wanted me to be. I thought "there are so many different religions, why should I be in this one? Is what it teaches even correct? This church claims to be Gods church how do I know if it really is his church?" I wanted to really know so I read the Book of Mormon and really tried to apply the teaches out of it and test it. Throught doing this and then praying about it I had calm confidence that it is true and confidence in God that I could accomplish the things He was asking me to do. Because of what I study out of the Bible and Book of Mormon I have turned away from old habits and weaknesses of mine and am becoming the best me that our Heavenly Father intended. I am so much happier, understand the world around me, and see God's hand in everything even when life gets hard. And that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day. God out of is love has given commandments to read from the scriptures of his influence and to pray to him daily. These have blessed my life and helped live to my potential day by day. I am currently serving a full time mission in the Albuquerque New Mexico mission and love every minute of it. It has taught me how to really serve the Lord and want to, even when I am done with my mission, serve those around me wherever I am at and help them learn how to have a relationship with God.
