Hi I'm Molly

I was raised in Florida. I love great movies. I make headboards in my garage and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently live in Canada and I'm loving it! My husband and I have two beautiful children and a sweet dog named Pete. I'm grateful for the opportunity I have to be a wife and a mother. I love to read and I love refinishing old furniture. I told my hubby that I wanted a headboard for our room and I decided, "Wait a second, I can make it!" So, I decided to tackle the project myself. Now, making headboards in my garage is one of my hobbies. :) I also enjoy studying health and nutrition!

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is simple. I know that Jesus is real. He lived for us, He died for us, He was resurrected, and He loves us more than I can possibly imagine. I grew up in the church, but I had to find out for myself what I believed, separate from my parents. For me, my testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ came gradually and grew over time as I experienced moments of peace, joy, and confirmations of truths from the Holy Ghost. As I am obedient and faithful, I feel peace and joy in my life. Life isn't always easy, but the Lord gives me strength to keep going. He is in the details of my life. He blesses me, helps me, and comforts me. I will forever be grateful for the many blessings that have and will be poured upon me and my family....blessings that can only come from a loving Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is real. It is true.

How I live my faith

When my family moved to our new home in Canada, we were so excited to meet our new ward family. For me, it doesn't matter where I live, as long as I can find a ward and get to work! :) Right now I teach the children in our ward. I love the children and their sweet testimonies of the Savior. The Gospel is taught so simply to the children and for me, teaching the children has strengthened my testimony and increased my faith. I love getting to know the women in my ward. As women in the Gospel we watch and care for each other.
