Hi I'm Will

I grew up in Nevada. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second of four children. I have grown up in the church all my life. I love the outdoors. Some of my favorite activities are mountain biking, snowboarding, camping and just about anything else you can think of outdoors. I recently was married to the girl of my dreams. I graduated from college and have been working for a few years. I am hoping to go back to school to gain more education. I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and was exposed to its teachings. I learned the doctrine of the church and heard the many testimonies of my family and friends as to its truthfulness. There came a point in my life where I realized that the teachings of the church and the testimonies of my family and friends were great, but I need to find my own testimony. I was taught in the church that God is my Father and that he would answer my prayers through his spirit (peace, comfort, strength). I asked God if the church and the things I have been taught are true. God's spirit touched my soul and gave me an answer that I could understand. My soul was filled with the most profound peace, comfort and love. I continue to follow the teachings of Christ taught through his Church and as I do so I feel the same spirit continue to touch my life.

How I live my faith

I believe in the example of Christ. He did not just preach the word but his whole life was an example about how to be good. I love how the doctrine of the church encourages us to do the same. I constantly strive to love and serve those around me. In my ward I teach one of the classes. I strive to do my hometeaching each month by visiting members of the church checking on their welfare and sharing a spiritual message. Daily I read the scriptures, ponder on their meaning, and seek to apply them in my life. I donate time and money to help the poor and needy. I say my prayers at least 3 times a day. By doing small and simple things each day to remember Jesus Christ and to do good to others I feel I am living my Faith.
