Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Mormon. I am a father of 5 exceptionally active and cute kids. Our family loves to swim, bike, run, and just be together.

About Me

I am the father of 5 great kids. My entire family loves to do Triathlons! I am an Ironman athlete and my wife is a marathon runner. Our kids are 11,9,7,5, and 2. And let me tell you what our two year old is the first one of all our kids that exemplifies the "terrible twos." I am a Territory Manager for Medtronic, the largest medical device company in the world. I work with patients with diabetes. Our kids love art, crafts, origami, playing outside on the swing set and trampoline. We have a dog named Dash, he was named after the son on the Disney movie Incredibles who is speedy fast! We also have a cat nobody particularly loves named Rajah (after the tiger on the Disney movie Aladdin). I am also a race director for several triathlons and running events in Eastern Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I am not a Mormon because my parents told me to be, or because someone else told me this was the true church, or even because it was the religion I grew up in. I am a Mormon because I read the Book of Mormon and asked God the eternal father if that book was indeed written by prophets of old like the Bible, and through the Holy Ghost, the Lord gave me a witness that the Book of Mormon is indeed the word of God. After I knew that the Book of Mormon was true I knew the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints had to be the Lords church on earth today.

How I live my faith

We live our faith by: Reading the scriptures as a family every morning at 6:00 am Serving others as the Lord would if he were in our position. Our kids are especially good at anonymously helping others. Serving as a cub scout master and teacher in church. Praying in our family in the morning, evening, and over meals. We also have personal prayers. Go to church on Sundays, and try to keep the Sabbath day holy by keeping the TV turned off. We fast once a month We willingly give 10% of our income to the church to pay for Temples, Missionaries, and meeting houses. Every Monday night we have "Family Home Evening" where we sing some fun songs and learn a gospel or life principle. We have fun and truly believe that the Lords plan is a plan of happiness. My favorite quote is "No success can compensate for failure in the home." I truly believe this.
