Hi I'm Jennie

I'm a Mormon. I am married. I am a stay at home Mom. My testimony Of Christ gets me through life.

About Me

I am married with two kids, 1 girl and 1 boy. I stay at home with my kids during the day. Much harder than working, but more rewarding. We have a Golden Retriever named Dug. My 4 year old named him after the movie "Up". I love cooking, sewing and crafting. I love to snowboard, my son is named after a snowboarding company. My husband taught me to snowboard while we were dating. I am a huge music fan. Country music is my favorite.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it completes me. I was born into a Mormon family. I was not active in the church for many years of my life. I started going back to church 6 months ago. I always had a small void in my life during the period of time I was not active. I am now genuinely happy, no matter what comes my way. I have a strong testimony of the church. I know that The church is true. I know that my father in heaven knows me individually and loves me. I know that Jesus Christ had a physical body, suffered for my sins and died so I may live again. More importantly I know he was resurrected and he lives. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of The Book of Mormon. I know that Christ will come again and I will feel the nail prints in his palms and feet. I know Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God. I have a strong testimony of repentance and the atonement. I know that if we put our burdens down, Christ will carry them for us. I have been made whole and pure again through Christs sacrifice. I am grateful for the power of prayer. Heavenly Father listens to each and everyone of us. If we go to our Father in Heaven in prayer he will answer our prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by visiting teaching. I am able to visit two sisters in my ward monthly and share my testimony of the gospel. When they are sick or in need they can always reach out to me for help. I live my faith by treating others Christ like.
