Hi I'm Kandace

I love Rubik's cubes. I love learning languages. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Solving the Rubik's cube and running are ways I de-stress, but most of all I love learning new languages. I thrills me when I'm able to speak to someone in their native tongue (that is not English) and be able to be understood. The language I'm actively working on is Korean! I have an associates in Business Studies and will going to college soon to major in that same field.

Why I am a Mormon

Religion has brought stability in my life and helps me make good choices. Living these teachings has brought more joy than anything else, which joy can only be known through direct experience. It helps me strengthen my testimony in God and Jesus Christ. The suffering of Jesus Christ has inspired and motivated me to be better, and to think less of myself and more of others. As this understanding grows, I feel an increased amount of peace even in this world of turmoil.

How I live my faith

I helped children to learn songs that build their faith in God. It takes some effort finding creative ways for them to memorize the words to these songs, but it is so rewarding when parents tell you that their child was humming a song all the way home! These songs I'd learned in my youth have brought much peace and comfort in times of need.
