Hi I'm Kristyn Jensen

I have red hair. I graduated from Culinary School. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of 7 and love spending time with them, especially my adorable nephews. I love watching romantic movies, eating popcorn, and laughing with friends. I am working on my bachelors degree and just enjoying my college life. I love having a group of friends come over be able to talk and enjoy each others company. When I finish school, I want to gain experience in a variety of restaurants. Later down the road, my dream is to open up my own bakery/cafe. I enjoy sunshine, buttons, pretty music, gummy bears, and laughter.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to have been born into a family with parents that are faithful members of the church. I was taught at a young age about Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Book of Mormon. I could see and feel the happiness that came when I was following the prophet and choosing the right. As I got older and moved away from the comforts of my childhood home, I had to decide for myself if I truly believed this church was true. I had felt it was, but it was time I needed to ask Heavenly Father for myself. After much studying and praying to know if this church was true, I got an answer: it was YES! I am a Mormon because I know that this is the Church of Jesus Christ restored on the earth today. I have never felt happier than when I am following the Lord's commandments.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to be living with and by people my age. My ward puts on many activities for all of us to get to know one another and have a good time. One of my favorites is on Monday nights, we get together and participate in a gospel lesson followed by some sort of activity. Also, every Sunday I get to go church, where we all meet and learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ward is a good support for me to continue to live my life as a member of this church.
