Hi I'm John

I'm a family man, an Audiologist and the Director of a growing hearing services company. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am husband to a great wife, father of 3 crazy young boys, an Audiologist, a property developer and the Director of a growing hearing services company. When I get spare time I like to go mountain biking or road cycling. Snowboarding was a favourite past time of mine, which will be revisited some time in the future. I trained for 6 years as an Audiologist getting my degree and masters in this area, I love helping people. This profession enables me to help people every day by helping them hear. It gives me great satisfaction.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the teachings of the Christ's church. I was first introduced to the church through my parents from a young age. Both of my parents joined with the church in there 20's. As my childhood went by, my belief and understanding of God has increased and I have come to know through my experiences that God is real, He is our farther in heaven and He loves us. We can talk to Him through prayer, and He answers us. Christ is His son, He has felt our pains through His atonement so that we don't have to if we turn to Him. With the passing of my father (a great man, who did great works in the community), while I miss him greatly, I have felt the peace that came to me from knowing the purpose of this life, and the understanding of where we go after this life has ended. That families will be reunited, that we will meet again. This church helps me to be a better husband and a better father. Supports me in raising our children with sound principles that will help them to be good people and be happy.

How I live my faith

I have been the ecclesiastical leader (Bishop) in the local congregation of the church for the past 5 years. It has been a great experience to be able to help and serve the people to the best of my ability. To see the change that happens in people's lives as they come to better understand the atonement of Christ and how it applies to their life. I regularly teach the youth and speak in church services. At the age of 19 my father and I walked for a children's charity pulling a handcart across part of America. My family have raised money for a local charity through cycling challenges and other efforts. From the age of 19 I served as a missionary in Canada for 2 years, and in this time was privileged to meet and help many great people.
