Hi I'm John

I grew up in Provo, I love Basketball, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Utah, and now am serving a mission in New Jersey. I love to play all types of sports, I love learning, and I love spending time with my family. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, which is rough because I'm already to that point, but I'm interested in advertising and graphic design. I love the adventures that life has to bring, and look forward to what's next.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon is easily answered: Because I was born into the church and it's all I ever really knew. A better question, Why am I still a Mormon? Being a member of the church has blessed my life so much! It gives me purpose and understanding, especially when times get tough. I've come to know that living the way that Jesus Christ would want me to live, is what truly brings us happiness in life. It's such a blessing to have continual revelation of prophets and apostles to help us cross the dangerous waters that life has to bring. I love the sure knowledge that I will live with my family forever, even if one passes on early in life. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ, and that one can come to "feel" that these things are true. One must read the Book of Mormon, pray, and then pay attention to the way they feel. Then they can accept it, and change their lives forever.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm living my faith by serving as a missionary in New Jersey. It truly is the best way to live your faith, by sharing your faith with others. I love seeing how the church helps people, and truly changes hearts. I've been able to see and experience the true conversion of my fellow brothers and sisters here, and that brings so much joy to my own life. I hope to be one of the best member missionaries I can when I return home, and continually share my faith with others.
